Mini-Men for Mental Health is the creation of Dr Julia Baxendine-Jones - a talented and creative Pathologist with a passion for creating quirky photographic art – using humour and perspective to change minds and reduce mental health related stigma.
Julia has struggled for years with significant mental health challenges of her own and now wants to help other doctors to access the kind of support that has helped her so much in recent years.
Joyful Art was born out of Julia's creativity and passion for healing through art. We wouldn't be here without her...
Dr Jennifer Harris
'Music is not what I do. It's who I am.'
Jennifer is an English musician in her 20's. She skillfully combines piano with alternative pop and electronic sounds to produce pieces that are as compulsive as they are uplifting. She has recently expanded her creative portfolio further to include some spectacular pieces of photography and art.
After completing degrees in both music and medicine she currently works jointly in mental health and music. Using mental health as a springboard to meet fascinating people from all walks of life - this precious inspiration can be found throughout her work - enjoy!
