Sheela Hobden

I am passionate about preventative mental health, resilience and the impact that has on wellbeing. I use coaching to enable individuals to find their own techniques to manage work and life, in turn fully realising their potential.

I have been coaching informally through my 10 year HR and Management career and chose to formalise this in 2017. I studied with Barefoot Coaching, additionally achieving a PGCERT in Business and Personal Coaching from the University of Chester. I went on in 2018 to gain Associate Certified Coach status with the International Coach Federation. I also hold Associate membership with the CIPD.

I have a passion for health and wellness, particularly in the medical field. I work with organisations and individuals, focussing on doctors and healthcare professionals. My coaching programmes help this group learn to care for themselves as much as they do for their patients. My other core areas are freelancers and teachers who often end up having client and pupil needs over-riding their own!

It was a broken ankle, a bout of depression and getting career coaching myself that sparked the passion for coaching. So inspired, I formally trained in coaching and set up my own business. I have completed ultra-distance running events, a full ironman and am a keen year round sea swimmer.
